John F. Morgan is owner of Morgan Timber. Formerly, he was vice president of INVESCO Capital Management, which he founded together with eight others in 1979.
Morgan graduated from Oxford College and received a BBA from Emory. He joined the First at Orlando Corporation (now SunTrust) and then returned to Atlanta in 1972 to work for Citizens and Southern National Bank (now Bank of America).
At Emory he has chaired the Board of Visitors. He was elected to the Emory University Board of Trustees as an alumni trustee in 1996, was elected a term trustee in 2000, and currently serves as chair of the board.
