Thomas I. Barkin is president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Before that, he spent 30 years in the Atlanta office of McKinsey & Company, where he was a senior partner and served as the global CFO of McKinsey as well as a member of the firm’s board and operating committee.
Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Barkin attended Harvard College and earned a JD/MBA at Harvard as well. He and his wife, Robyn Rieser Barkin 90B, have two adult children, Sam and Katie.
He was elected trustee in 2014.
