William A. (Bill) Brosius has 40 years of experience in healthcare, primarily in the financial operations of health care organizations, including eight years as vice president and CFO of Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in the Texas Medical Center. There he was responsible for the overall financial operations of the 800-bed academic medical center. Brosius also served as senior vice president of University of Maryland Medical System's Capital Region Health, comprised of three hospitals in the greater D.C. area. His most recent role was vice president of finance at Methodist Health System's Southlake Medical Center, a start-up facility in north Texas.

Brosius has extensive financial and operational experience in for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and sub-acute and long-term acute care facilities. His expertise includes joint ventures, financial turnarounds, interim management, acquisition anaylses, feasibility studies, productivity, strategic planning, and budgeting.

Prior to his hospital and healthcare operations, Brosius served as senior financial consultant with the Lane Group, a boutique health care consulting firm. Upon graduating from Emory's Goizueta Business School in 1985, Brosius began his career with Arthur Anderson & Co. in Atlanta.

In addition to his service on the Emory University Board of Trustees, Brosius also serves on the Emory Healthcare Board of Directors, where he is vice chair of the Patient Quality Committee, and on the Emory + Children's Pediatric Institute Board.

He was elected trustee in 2015.
